American sports star dazzles in Kente; poses with top business executive and Ghanaian chief (Photo)

- American football star, Colin Kaepernick, has posed with Bozzoma A. Saint John and the chief of Akwamu, Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, for a photo.

- Bozzoma A. Saint John revealed that the chief of Akwamu, Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, recognised Kaepernick as a warrior.

- The photo was taken when Kaepernick and Saint John paid a visit to the palace of the chief

YEN.com.gh is in possession of a photo of American football star, Colin Kaepernick, the paramount chief of Akwamu, Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III and Bozzoma A. Saint John, the chief marketing officer of William Morris Endeavour, a holding company for talent and media agencies.

The photo was taken when the football icon and the business executive paid a visit to the palace of the chief.

The chief, seated on his throne looked regal in a rich Kente cloth and was adorned with jewellery.

Saint John, standing to his right, settled for a mauve-coloured locally made dress with a beaded necklace to match.

Kaepernick stood to his right and wore a short-sleeved Kente shirt, black trousers, native sandals and a beaded necklace around his neck.

Saint John, who released the photo online, noted that it was an honour to welcomed to Akwamu after her crowning as the queen in the year 2018.

She went on to say that Kaepernick descends from the Akwamu royal line and the king immediately recognized him as a warrior.

Saint John further noted that it was an honour to be blessed by the queen mother who marks her 55th year on the throne in 2019.

In other news, the trade and industry minister, Alan Kyeremanten, has commissioned West Africa’s largest steel factory at Kpone in the Greater Accra region.

The factory falls under the One District One Factory (1DF1) project.

Information available shows that the factory would produce iron and steel and is owned and operated by B5 Plus Limited.
