A 15-year-old Junior High School student, Norsi Mawunyefia, has invented a makeshift ferry, YEN.com.gh has learnt.
Mawunyefia is a student of the Nkwakubew Presby School and with encouragement from his teacher, Kpodo Gilbert, has already tested his product on the Volta lake.
Mawunyefia revealed that he initially conceived the idea, drew it and began preparations to transform it into reality.
He added that he could do more for his school if it is equipped with a science resource laboratory.
Myjoyonline.com reports that Mawunyefia, who is from the Labolabo community in the Eastern region, joined the National Society of Black Engineers at the Accra Technical University to exhibit his model ferry.
