Latest video shows 15-year-old JHS inventor who has built a ferry

- A video of a 15-year-old Junior High School pupil, Norsi Mawunyefia, who has built a makeshift ferry, has popped up online.

- Mawunyefia teamed up with his teacher, Kpodo Gilbert, to translate an idea he had into reality, and this led to the manufacture of the ferry.

- The student has revealed that the absence of a science laboratory in his school has made it difficult for him to work on some ideas he has.

A 15-year-old Junior High School student, Norsi Mawunyefia, has invented a makeshift ferry, has learnt.

Mawunyefia is a student of the Nkwakubew Presby School and with encouragement from his teacher, Kpodo Gilbert, has already tested his product on the Volta lake.

Mawunyefia revealed that he initially conceived the idea, drew it and began preparations to transform it into reality.

He added that he could do more for his school if it is equipped with a science resource laboratory. reports that Mawunyefia, who is from the Labolabo community in the Eastern region, joined the National Society of Black Engineers at the Accra Technical University to exhibit his model ferry.
