Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could leave Liverpool at the at the end if his current contract.

The Reds currently sit top of the Premier League table and are in superb shape after the German tactician led his team to the Champions League victory and Super Cup.

According to Sky Sports (UK), Club owners Fenway Sports Group would like to tie the German down with a new, long-term deal but Klopp wants to take a break from football when his contract ends in 2022.

"If I decide for myself that I cannot go on anymore, I'll take a break and in that year I'd have to make a definite decision (on his career).

"I have absolute energy, but I have one problem; I can't do 'a little bit.' I can only do 'all or nothing.' Klopp said.

Klopp has already written his name in Liverpool's history books but what would be the icing on the cake and really cement his name in the hearts of fan is if he wins the premier league.

The Last time the Merseyside dwellers won the domestic league was in 1989/90 and this season the 52-year-old will have lifting the EPL Cup down as his primary objective

Liverpool have already gone through three games this season unbeaten, having brushed aside Arsenal at Anfield with a 3-1 win on Saturday, August 24.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Liverpool vs Arsenal ended in a 3-1 win for Jurgen Klopp's side as they continue their perfect run in the new campaign.
