- BOST has officially confirmed Edwin Provencal as the new Managing Director of the company
- He was nominated by President Nana Akufo-Addo to replace George Mensah Okley
- He worked for the Energy Minister as a Technical Director
Edwin Provencal has been appointed new Managing Director of the Board of the Bulk Oil and Transport (BOST) Company Limited.
He takes over from George Mensah Okley, who resigned as the Managing Director of BOST.
Mr. Mensah Okley submitted his resignation to President Akufo-Addo after serving for over two years.

Even though it is unclear reasons for the resignation of the former BOST MD, it was perceived to be under controversial circumstances.
President Nana Akufo-Addo nominated Edwin Provencal to succeed Mr. Mensah Okley.
Before his appointment, Mr. Provencal served as the Technical Director to the Energy Minister, John Peter Amewu.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that NDC's parliamentary candidate for the Madina constituency , Francis Xavier Sosu says he spent GHC300K in campaigning during the primaries.
He says the money went into things like feeding of delegates, transportation, fuel for campaign vehicles, among other expenses.
