Popular Kumawood actor, Sean Paul, has claimed that some movie producers and actors have turned mobile phone sellers.
According to him, the stagnant state of the movie industry has forced these producers and actors to do that trade in order to get food for themselves and their families.
Sean Paul made this sad revelation in a video seen by YEN.com.gh.
He decried the state of the movie industry, blaming it on the players who failed to put sustenance plans in place for the industry.
Sean Paul was of the view that the industry would not be able to be revived, advising his colleagues to look at exploring other avenues.
According to him, others including actress Tracey Boakye who claimed to have made fortunes from the industry recently were not telling Ghanaians the truth.
The comic actor also claimed that actor Majid Michel was smart to turn himself into a pastor when the industry collapsed.
Meanwhile, recently, a movie producer, Kofi Asamoah, claimed whites are more sensible and wiser than blacks.
This, he said, has affected the African continent which in a way has also affected the movie industry.
While his comment received many backlash from the public, actress Moesha Boduong supported him.
