Lumba's releases latest song for NPP’s 1D1F

- Legendary singer, Daddy Lumba has released a new song for the NPP's IDIF programme

- Lumba is an NPP supporter and is known to produce hit songs for the party's campaign purposes

- The ‘One-District-One-Factory’ programme is aimed at establishing, at least, one factory or enterprise in each of the 216 districts of Ghana as a means of creating economic growth

Highlife legend Daddy Lumba is set to release his latest song for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2020 general elections.

The song, which is titled ‘One District One Factory’ is in honour of the achievements of President Akufo-Addo.

The multiple award-winning artiste is a known supporter of the NPP and has previously composed campaign songs for the party.

In 2012, he composed the popular song Nana is a Winner which became the NPP’s official campaign song for that year’s general elections.

He made a remix of the song in 2016, which eventually became the most popular campaign song in the country.

Daddy Lumba’s latest campaign track for the NPP, titled ‘One District One Factory’, praises President Akufo-Addo for fulfilling his promise.

In a video posted on his official Facebook page, he is seen performing the song in a studio, together with music producer Apietus.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that NPP's Ashanti Regional Chairman said he orchestrated the defeat of the NDC Member of Parliament for Kumbungu, Ras Mubarak in the just-ended parliamentary primaries.

According to him, he will make sure the NDC fails in the 2020 general elections, adding that politics is all about money.
