Popular actor turned politician, John Dumelo, has revealed the strategy he used in winning the NDC primaries.
The actor contested for the Ayawaso West Wuogon nod and he was handed a landslide victory.
Dumelo polled a total of 758 votes as against his contender Suzzy Addoboye, who managed only 99 votes.
Many people have been inspired by Dumelo’s victory, with many still surprised because he is a new face in politics.
In telling how he won the hearts of the delegates, Dumelo said he paid school fees for some of them, perhaps, the younger ones.
And for the older one, the actor said he bought plastic chairs for them. Maybe, that was what they needed to make their lives comfortable.
Dumelo has also revealed on many platforms that he is employing a new strategy to get the 2020 nod to represent the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in Parliament.
He said he is going to tackle sanitation in that constituency, and help the constituents see why they should vote for him.
Meanwhile, Dancehall musician Samini has cautioned John Dumelo over his political ambition.
Samini said Dumelo must not repeat old political mistakes, but be sure to change the narrative.
The Linda crooner further pledged his unending support for Dumelo to ensure that he succeeds in his new political career.
The Sweet Mistake hitmaker was in the news recently following a photo he shared with all his beautiful four children.
