The Police Administration in Ghana has condemned the attacks and killing of police officers and assured that it will work hard to bring the perpetrators to book.

August 28, 2019
On Wednesday, August 28, 2019 two police officers on duty lost their lives when occupants of a vehicle they signalled to stop opened fire on them along the Kasoa to Budumburam stretch.
Three suspects have been arrested so far in connection with the murder of the uniformed men.

General Lance Corporal Alhassan Asare, attached to the Akyem Swedru Police Station was compelled to commit what looks like a suicide.
The deceased aged, 35, died on duty at the Dukes Petroleum filling station at Akyem Swedru . He was found dead with bullet wounds on his head and sitting in a plastic chair.
August 19, 2019
Corporal Bernard Antwi, 37, was attached at Manso Abodom in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region.
He was also seen dead after working hours.
YEN.com.gh also reported earlier that the US has imposed a “reciprocity” fee for all approved non-immigrant visa applications by Nigerians.
The new levy is in retaliation to Nigeria’s high visa fee charges on Americans.
