Ghanaian boxer Brimah Kamoko, popularly known as Bukom Banku, has arrived in London ahead of his fight against Ferenc Albert.
The 38-year-old has often fought his bouts in the country, but he is now set to face Hungary’s Ferenc Albert in his first professional bout outside the shores of Ghana.
The international cruiserweight contest will come off at the St. George Hall in Bradford, UK on September 7, 2019.
Both boxers have been talking big ahead of the bout, with Bukom Banku predicting a 5th round stoppage of his opponent.
Meanwhile, Ferenc Albert has also promised to hand the Ghanaian a knockout in the third round of the fight.
The Hungarian boxer holds a record of 27 wins in his career, 15 of which have come by way of knockout.
Bukom Banku, on the other hand, was handed his first professional loss in as many fights when he fought Samir Bastie in 2017.
He was handed a technical knockout by his opponent in a bout that caught the eyes of many Ghanaians.
Since then, Bukom Banku has not engaged in any bout and rather recently relaunched his music career.
The Ghanaian boxer has fought 30 times in his career, winning 29 – 21 of which were Kos – and losing just once.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that EA Sport has announced Michael Essien as the latest player to make the FIFA 20 Ultimate Team Icon list.
The former Ghana international becomes only the second African to make the FIFA 20 Icon list after Didier Drogba.
