She wrote in a post sighted by YEN.com.gh that the people were always quick to ask where one is from so that they would maltreat her.

Thread: 1. I was in SA this year in March for 4 weeks and I never felt safe. I realised that whenever a black South African made me out not to be one of them, they would treat me differently & sometimes ask where I’m from. I remember one driver asking that same question...”

Tracy said her encounter with one driver made her so angry and scared at the same time because he looked like someone who could rape her.

According to her, the driver doubted when she told him she was from Ghana, asking why she was not so dark.

Apparently, the South African driver had the notion that Ghanaians were very dark and Tracy does not look that way.

"2. ... & when I told him I was from Ghana, he told me I don’t look a Ghanaian/West African because I wasn’t very dark!! And said your ppl are very dark ehh...I was so upset but I was also very scared because the way he was looking at me I actually thought he might want rape me."

Tracy’s revelation comes following the ongoing xenophobic attack in South Africa.

From her own experience, Tracy said South Africans are truly violent, especially, the black ones.

She suggested that reeducation of such ones would help reduce the reoccurring violence in that country.

Meanwhile, Tracy Sarkcess has been in the news recently following a complaint she made about her husband that he does not come to bed early.
