PDS cleared of allegations leveled against them

The Power Distribution Services (PDS) Ghana Limited has been exonerated following a 30-day investigation conducted by government.

The concession agreement between PDS and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) was suspended on Tuesday, July 30 by government due to “fundamental and material breaches”.

According to government, PDS failed to provide demand guarantees for such an agreement.

Findings after the investigations reveal that there is no evidence of fraud in the concessionaire agreement between PDS and ECG.

In other news, YEN.com.gh sighted a trending video of former president John Dramani Mahama and President Akufo-Addo caught in a very uncomfortable position trying to exchange greetings at an event.

In the video, the president, was seen happily exchanging pleasantries with dignitaries at the event which was to cut sod for Kofi Annan's statue.

As he proceeded to give the former president Mahama a handshake, the president did not even engage in an eye contact with Mahama and also said nothing to him as well.
