YEN.com.gh has learnt that Sherrexcia “Rexy” Rolle is the vice president of operations and the general counsel for Western Air.
The 29-year-old official is reportedly one of the youngest executives to play a lead role at a Black-owned airline.
Bauce Magazine reports that Western Air has a net worth of more than 90 million dollars.
Rolle reveals that there is a very efficient government airline in the Bahamas but some target areas were ignored.
Western Air therefore came in to focus on trips to such places and subsequently convinced investors to jump on board.
She however revealed that there is an urgent need to establish power and authority as a woman in the industry.
This, she explains, is to help halt inappropriate behavior at the workplace.
