People of Dutch Caribbean island known as Curacao have been thrown into mourning following the sudden and shocking death of their goalkeeper Jarzinho Pieter.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper was reported to have suffered a heart attack on Monday, September 9, while in the team's camp before he was later confirmed dead by the Concacaf football governing body.
Before his untimely death, Jarzinho Pieter and his former teammates were preparing for their Concacaf Nations League match against Haiti.
But according to the report on BBC, the players have decided to go on with the match on Tuesday, September 10, where a minute's silence will be obtained to honor the deceased.

Jarzinho Pieter who plays for Curacao side Centro Dominguito is a back up goalkeeper for Eloy Room.
Eloy Room who plays for MLS side Columbus Crew SC however took to his official social media page to pay his respect for Jarzinho.
Pieter made his debut for the Curaçao national football team in a 2-0 friendly win over Aruba on November 14, 2013.

Per reports, Agogo died on Thursday morning, August 22, 2019, in London. The former Zamalek and Nothingham Forest goal poacher died at age 40.
