Meet the lady who was stripped and robbed in a cab in Accra
- Woman shares her nightmare experience of how she was sexually assaulted and robbed in a taxi
- According to her the bad guys interrogated her and drove her around town, then eventually dumped her at an unknown location
- She said sh reported to the police but an arrest is yet to be effected
A young lady has narrated how she was stripped half-naked and robbed of her valuables by a group of men she boarded a taxi with.
Narrating her ordeal to Citi FM, she said the men sexually assaulted her and threatened to kill her if she makes any noise.
“There was this growing suspicion within me that something wasn’t right,” she disclosed.

“The other passengers were all men including the driver, making it three. So the man in the front seat jumped to the back and he slapped me.
“He [the man] told me they were going to kill me if I didn’t keep quiet, so I had to keep quiet.”
Her assailants then stripped her half-naked and stole her bag which contained her laptop, phone and purse.
She narrated that they further blindfolded her and took her ATM card, before threatening her into disclosing her ATM pin.
“I was frightened to I started to plead for my life. They drove around for about 20 minutes asking me all sorts of personal questions, whether I was married and whether I had children.
“At that point I started to cry because I couldn’t imagine what they were going to do to me. They finally dumped me at an isolated location.

It’s been two weeks since the incident happened, but despite reporting to the Batsonaa Police station, no arrests have been made yet.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghana’s youngest real estate developer, Stephanie Ode Wilson, built a 3-bedroom apartment and sold her first house in November 2017.
This was done when she was 20 years old and she went ahead to sell three more houses. Information available shows that she saved money received from a real estate developer for whom she ran errands.
