Kumasi-based radio presenter Badala Hassan dies minutes to his show

- Badala Hassan, a presenter with Kumasi-based Adehyie FM has been reported dead

- Mr Hassan, as the deceased is known, collapsed on Thursday, September 12, 2019, and was pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital

- He was survived by a wife and a four-month-old baby

A Kumasi-based radio presenter, Badala Hassan, has reportedly died leaving friends and family in shock.

The deceased, popularly known as Mr Hassan, is reported to have died hours before his maiden radio programme on Adehyie FM.

According to a report YEN.com.gh sighted on Adomonline.com, Hassan collapsed and died after being rushed to a hospital on Thursday, September 12, 2019.

Quoting undisclosed sources, the report indicated that Hassan had been appointed as the new programmes manager at Adehyie FM and was slated to host his first-ever show in the evening Friday, September 13, 2019.

Relatively a veteran in the Kumasi broadcasting space, Hassan has had stints as a programme host with stations including Kennedy Agyapong's Ashh, Bohye FM, and Fire TV before joining Adehyie FM, which is a subsidiary of Class Media, owners of Class FM and Accra FM.

Hassan left behind a wife and a four-month-old baby.

Meanwhile, a budding gospel musician, Owoahene Acheampong, has died, reports sighted by YEN.com.gh have indicated.

According to the reports, Owoahene died Wednesday, September 11, 2019 afternoon after battling an illness.
