5 worst dressed celebrities at 2019 Glitz Style Awards (photos)

The 2019 Glitz Style Awards has been dominating entertainment news headlines since it came off on Saturday, September 14.

Many of Ghana's celebrities, entertainment and fashion industry players and other prominent personalities.

Just like every red carpet event, the fashion and style of the stars who attended have been put under scrutiny on social media.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh actress and style icon Nana Akua Addo, actress Zynnell Zuh, former first lady Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings and a host of other celebrities have been highly praised for their style.

While there is seeming satisfaction with the outfits spotted on the red carpet, there have been a few ones which have received criticisms on social media.

YEN.com.gh brings you some of the celebrities whos fashion did not please social media users and got them trolled.

1. Pappy Kojo:

The rapper is undoubtedly a fine man and looks good in almost everything he decides to put. This time, he wore a cream suit with a black inner.

While the suit looked to be cool, he matched it with a yellowish rubber made half-shoe, the one which is known in local parlance as 'abokyi mpaboa' or 'baba agye pay'.

It is not known what inspired that dressing but many social media users have laughed at him for that.

Maybe he took the occasion too casual.

2. Mya James:

Mya James is an American entrepreneur who attended this year's Glitz Style Awards.

Appearing on the red carpet, Mya wore a black outfit which looked okay but her fluffy 'mango' hair and makeup did not do her too good.

And social media users have been making fun of her.

3. Lady Jay:

A budding singer, lady Jay looked to have 'slayed in a stylistic fashion but her makeup looked to be too much.

Looking at her photo, one cannot differentiate between her eyeballs and the 'paint' on her face.

And social media users have been wondering what she was thinking.

4. Ugonna Omeruo:

Nigerian stylist Ugonna Omeruo stormed the red carpet with a pink dress made to look like a blooming.

While the idea was bold, the bloom looked to have been too much and even competed with her face for attention.

A photo of Ugonna shows her struggling to get her face to show to the and fans have not been impressed.

5. Lexy Boahene:

Lexy who is the CEO of an HR and recruitment firm in the UK looked quite okay with her style.

It is the revealing nature of her outfit which has brought criticism to .
