- Eden Hazard has differentiated between Real Madrid and Chelsea fans reaction when they lose matches
- The Belgian captain revealed it is more like a disaster in Spain unlike England, a disappointment
- Hazard played his first La Liga game for Los Blancos in their 3-2 victory over Levante
Eden Hazard has opened up about the major difference on how Real Madrid handle defeat compared to that of Chelsea.
The 28-year-old completed a £130million summer move to the Santiago Bernabeu and he has seen the fanatical nature of Los Blancos and the Blues' supporters.
Hazard believes losing a match at Madrid is much more a disaster but defeat at Chelsea is moreorless a disappointment.
"At Chelsea when we lost, we were disappointed, like the fans, but I never felt it was a disaster, it's different in Spain," Hazard told Champions Journal, ahead of Real Madrid's Champions League opener against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.
"I think that here the fans are really fans, football is everything to them and they need players to give everything, in England there aren't so many fans.
"Of course, people there like football and everyone be that young people, adults or teenagers are really interested in football, but they aren't so fanatical about their teams."
Hazard made his La Liga debut against Levante last weekend and his side are yet to taste defeat this season winning two matches and drawing two so far.
He came off the bench for Casemiro in the 60th minute as Zinedine Zidnae's men managed to grind out victory in a five-goal thriller.
But the former Lille star Hazard is still a fan favourite by large sections of Chelsea supporters due to his unforgettable spell at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard is expected to be in Zidane's starting XI when Real travel to Parc des Princes to play PSG in a repeat of the 2017-18 Champions League quarter -final.
