A well-known family planning advocate, Professor Frederick Torgbor Sai, has lost his life.
YEN.com.gh understands that he is one of Ghana’s renowned physicians in reproductive health.
Information available shows that he was also a well-known supporter of the rights of women.
Before his death at 95 years, he received one of Ghana’s most prestigious awards, the Order of the Star of Ghana.
He was the father of Florence Oboshie Sai-Coffie who was a minister during the John Agyekum Kufuor administration.
Per a myjoyonline.com report, Kufuor’s government introduced free maternal health services based on the late Sai’s advocacy.
The idea behind the introduction of service was to help reduce maternal mortality among adolescent girls and young women.

In other news, an unidentified woman has disclosed she loves her pastor and therefore wishes to leave her husband.
She explained that she no longer has feelings for her husband but is strongly connected to the man of God who is also a counselor.
She went on to say her pastor has helped her deal with marital challenges, and since a problem with her husband appears difficult to settle, she does not want to be with him anymore.
