- Former president Mahama has been in the bad books of the public for allegedly calling Otumfuo a liar in a tweet he shared
- This tweet is believed to have been shared after Otumfuo said he convinced Mahama into conceding defeat
- Checks however have it that the tweet was probably from a cloned account
Information reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that the purported tweet from former president John Dramani Mahama saying Otumfuo lied about convincing him to concede defeat is fake.
According to close sources, such a tweet was never sent by the former president as it is believed that it was done from a cloned account.
However, it has become very necessary to clear the air as tension keeps rising around the said subject matter.
Some Ghanaians reacted to the said post pointing out various reasons why the tweet is fake.
Diouf could not believe this was posted. He was wondering why it was iPhone had a capital 'I'.
Papa Yaw said the post was not needed.
Wumbei simply said "incompetent liars".
Tanko sarcastically said the poster was drunk.
Meanwhile, Manhyia has responded to the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama and his former chief of staff, Julius Debrah.
“To call Otumfuo a liar or allow his cronies or to allow his people to disparage and pour vituperative to such a benefactor who went to the extent of accommodating you during your tenure as President, is to say the least very regrettable and inexcusable,” Otumfuo’s Spokesperson noted.
