Serwaa Amihere: Ghanaians blast GHOne TV presenter over betting is "national crisis" comment

GHOne TV presenter Joyce Serwaa Amihere has come under fire on social media over recent comments she made about sports betting.

Serwaa, in a series of posts on Twitter, started a conversation on sports betting in which she if it was a national crisis.

In a 10-point submission, Serwaa pointed out that betting was gradually becoming a part and parcel of the Ghanaian youth.

In her posts, while betting in itself may not be bad, 'the poor regulation' opens youngsters to possible exploitation.

Serwaa's post has got tongues wagging on social media with many sharing different opinions. While some agreed with Serwaa, others brushed her off entirely.
