Eminem explains why he missed collaborative with US’s biggest rappers

- US rapper, Eminem, turned down a joint collaborative tour with three of America's best selling rappers, 50 Cent, Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg

- 50 Cent revealed through a Big Boy TV interview the reason why Eminem made that decision

- Eminem chose family over making more money

Many talented artistes would grasp the opportunity to take on any big opportunity when it arises, but not US rapper, Eminem. He turned down a joint tour with Dr Dre, 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg recently.

People worldwide know that the tour would have been one of the biggest and most selling in the history of hip hop, especially with some of the biggest names in the rap industry performing.

And it was a huge success but if Eminem was involved, and judging from his massive fan base, it would have been 10 times bigger. But unfortunately some people, like Eminem value family more than do money.

According to SA Hip Hop mag, in a recent interview at Big Boy TV, 50 Cent revealed the reason Eminem turned down the joint tour. 50 Cent said Eminem was afraid that he’d be gone for too long and may miss out on the growth of his daughter, Hailey.

“You do not believe how much money we would’ve made. And Em was like – there was so many dates at the time the way they laid it out – that he was like, ‘I just don’t want to go on tour and come back and Hailey’s grown.’” Said Fiddy.

The Candy Shop hitmaker added that the tour was worth $100million, collectively. He also admitted that the dates of the tour were inconsistent.

He added that the run would have grossed so much money that “when you come back, everyone has the money that no one has to answer the phone”.

But Eminem chose to see his daughter grow, instead of making more money, than he already has from his sell-put performances and award-winning hits.

Taking to social media, the serial hit-maker made the big announcement. The highly-anticipated track dropped on 3 May, and the hype was real.
