Meet the restaurant owner who gave over 16,000 free meals in 2018 (Video)

- A video of a restaurant owner, Kazi Mannan, who gives out free meals to the poor has surfaced online

- According to him, he experienced hunger at a point in time and therefore wants to help feed the hungry and the homeless

- Information available shows that his restaurant provided about 16,000 meals for free in the year 2018 is in possession of a video of a restaurant owner named Kazi Mannan, who gives free food to the poor.

Mannan owns the Sakina Halal Grill in Washington D.C which is located in the United States of America.

The restaurant is a few blocks from the White House and it gives food to the homeless and asks no questions.

Mannan, an immigrant, knows the orders of those he gives out free food to and one of them has come to his restaurant twice a day for the last four years.

He reveals that some of them have health challenges such as teeth problems due to their addiction to alcohol and drugs.

In that respect, he gives them tender meat so that they face no difficulties in consuming it.

According to him, he was once in a similar situation and had nothing to eat for a while and as such, he tried to worship God by giving food to the poor.

Mannan adds that his customers who pay for their meals help him to provide free food to the poor and in the year 2018, he gave out over 16,000 free meals.

In his opinion, it is beautiful when you lift the spirits of others and he does not want people to be afraid to love and care for the less privileged.

In other news, has a statement attributed to Ghana’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, which was given on the night before independence.

Parts of the message revealed his resolve to create a continent that would be proud of all that it can achieve.

He went on to say that there was a need for the country to rededicate itself to the struggle to free other African countries from colonialism.

In his opinion, Ghana’s independence would lose its meaning unless it is linked with the total freedom of Africa.
