Ken Agyapong speaks on T'di missing girls' saga; says CID boss must go

- MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has joined the many Ghanaians calling for the head of the CID boss

- According to him, she should be removed from post with immediate effect

- He wondered how she could come out at first to say her outfit knew the location of the kidnapped ladies in the wake of the tension surrounding the case

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has joined the many Ghanaians calling for the head of the CID boss, DCOP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah.

After vowing not to defend his party the NPP in any given situation, he has launched a fresh attack at the CID boss Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, calling for her to be sacked.

In a video sighted, by YEN.com.gh, Kennedy Agyapong is heard calling for the head of the CID boss saying she is doing the bidding of Ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas in the bid to disgrace him(Kennedy Agyapong).

According to Kennedy Agyapong, the call of Ghanaians for the dismissal of the CID is in the right direction because she is a disgrace to Service.

He wondered how she could come out at first to say her outfit knew the location of the kidnapped ladies in the wake of the tensions surrounding the case.

He added that she exhibited incompetence when she said she just made that statement to calm tensions down.

In other news, Manhyia has responded to the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama and his former chief of staff, Julius Debrah.

In a strongly worded letter, the Spokesperson of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu Baffour Hyiaman Brentuo VI described the former president as an ingrate.

“To call Otumfuo a liar or allow his cronies or to allow his people to disparage and pour vituperative to such a benefactor who went to the extent of accommodating you during your tenure as President, is to say the least very regrettable and inexcusable,” Otumfuo’s Spokesperson noted.

The letter from the Ashanti Kingdom follows the recent back and forth between the former president John Mahama’s camp and Manhyia over the role of the Ashanti king in the aftermath of the 2016 elections.
