2 genius Black high school students make history; win int'l debate at Harvard University

Two high-performing Black students, DJ Roman and Keith Harris, have recently led their schools to win an international debate tournament at Harvard University.

DJ Roman and Keith Harris led their various school in the international debate contest and successfully maintained their undefeated record for two consecutive years, making history in the competition.

Roman, a senior student at North Atlanta High School, and Harris, a senior student at Westlake High School, represented their debate team in the championship round and thrashed other scholars from 15 different schools.

The two were set for the contest with teammates after being trained for 10 months.

And were guided by Harvard’s assistant debate coach, Brandon P. Fleming, revered for his efforts with the the Harvard Diversity Project which aims to recruit young black people and admit them into Harvard summer residency on full scholarship.

Fleming said he was proud of their achievement because they’ve worked hard for it.

''This is the moment that we’ve worked so hard for,'' Roman said as quoted by imagesyouwontseeontv.

DJ Roman and Keith Harris’ accomplishment shows the world that Black youth are capable of achieving when given equal access, exposure, and opportunities.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian diminutive social media star, Shatta Bandle, has made enormous international waves following a music video by Rudeboy of P-Square fame which features the Ghanaian talent.

Paul Psquare, shared a teaser of his upcoming music video titled, Audio Money, which prominently amplifies Shatta Bandle, on his Twitter handle.

The tweet has gone viral since Rudeboy shared it online and fans are super elated about the development.

Undoubtedly, the suspense is real and many have the tip of their tongues between their teeth, awaiting the full version of the video.
