- Stonebwoy has revealed that his deal with Samsung is on hold
- The deal has been suspended after he pulled a gun in a fight with Shatta Wale at the 2019 VGMA
- He said, however, that things are fine personally between him and Samsung
- The musician was hopeful that things would work out for him to get the deal back soon
Stonebwoy has spoken on his deal with Samsung which was ‘terminated’ after he pulled a gun on stage in a fight with Shatta Wale at the 2019 VGMA.
According to him, the deal has not been terminated as widely reported and speculated, but rather it has been put on hold.
In an interview with Hitz FM monitored by YEN.com.gh, Stonebwoy said the deal has been suspended, and indicated that he wishes he got it back again.
He added that the deal had to be suspended because the company was protecting “its interest”.
Of course, no reputable company would want to be associated with such violence.
Stonebwoy had expressed deep excitement about the deal when it started earlier, and so it is not out of place to say that he would be very pained that it has “been placed on hold.”
This followed his fight with Shatta Wale at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Stonebwoy pulled out a gun when his then arch-rival then, Shatta Wale, stormed the stage.
The incident was blown into a fight, in which his former manager Blakk Cedi beat and punch Shatta Wale on the face.
The issue landed both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy in court and the case is still ongoing.
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy has sacked Blakk Cedi and named a new manager.
He described the new manager as “manager 101”, while stressing that Blakk Cedi is now his agent.
Stonebwoy has also trended in the news following a photo that popped up that he was begging Rihanna for a collaboration.
