In other news, a dance and wellness programme is being organized for the aged in Ghana by the University of Ghana, Legon. has learned that the activity takes place at the dance department of the School of Performing Arts of the university.

The programme has been ongoing for about a year and a half now and it is considered necessary as there appears to be no policy in place for the aged in Ghana.

The idea behind the dance class is to ensure that the welfare of the aged in society are improved as aging comes with several health issues such as cardio and mobility challenges.
