KNUST students visit Kwame Nkrumah's former propaganda secretary (photos)

- Some students from KNUST have paid a courtesy visit to madam Victoria Baidu, a former staff of Nkrumah

- The group of students paid the visit as part of the celebrations marking Dr Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day

- Victoria Baidu, is said to have served as the former propaganda secretary of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah

Students from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), have paid a courtesy visit to Victoria Baidu, the former propaganda secretary for the Western sector for Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.

The students paid the courtesy visit as part of the celebrations marking Dr Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day which was observed on September 21, 2019.

According to Ghana the Black Star of Africa, Victoria Baidu, was the propaganda secretary for the Western sector during Kwame Nkrumah's era in office.

Victoria Baidu was also the originator of the word "ye ye" used in parliament which was originally an Nzema word.

She used to travel with Kwame Nkrumah in and outside Ghana on his official duties and campaigns.

Victoria Baidu, is almost 90 years, still very strong and mobile but has a problem with her eyesight.

Despite having served in government, the nearly 90-year-old former public servant lives in very deplorable condition.

Meanwhile, a video has emerged online alleged to be Malawian President Peter Mutharika, travelling to Lilongwe, the capital city of the country with a fleet of cars following him.

The video shows a long number of cars alleged to be the convoy of President Mutharika, on his way to Lilongwe, Malawi.

Social media user, Masiwa Maison Snr Table, shared the video on his personal Facebook platform.
