Arsenal came behind to cart away 3-2 victory over rivals Aston Villa in a tough Premier League encounter held at Emirates Stadium on Sunday, September 22.
But of massive interest, a heart-warming video of a young blind Arsenal fan has gone viral after he was seen passionately celebrating Aubameyang's winning goal.
Aston Villa, who initially looked destined for the day, netted the opener through John McGinn before Ainsley Maitland-Niles saw red for a second caution.
Nicolas Pepe scored his first goal for his new club from the spot, with Villa restoring their lead through again Wesley.
Callum Chambers leveled the scores for Arsenal again, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wonderful free kick sealed the 3-2 win for the Emirates dwellers.
However, one of the post-match discussions on social media was the young Arsenal fan who, despite being blind, was happy to be part of the electric atmosphere.
Nine-year-old Mikey Poulli was born with perfectly functional eyes but went blind at the age of seven after a rare eye disease.
His passion for the game was exhibited after Pierre Emerick Aubameyang’s free kick sent him and thousands of fans into a football frenzy.
Taking to Twitter, the young lad could not hide his excitement at his team’s performance and his overall enthusiasm for the beautiful game.
“I might be blind, but this proves you don't need to see to believe. Thank you Aubameyang for this amazing moment and feeling,” he tweeted.
His post was so touching it immediately went viral and to cap his magical night off, Aubameyang the match winner himself replied to his tweet with a heart emoji.
