Coach Kwesi Appiah is set to make changes in the Black Star's technical staff three months after the team's below-par performance at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt, YEN.com.gh has learnt.

According to renowned sports journalist Saddick Adams, Coach Appiah has decided to sack his assistant coach, Ibrahim Tanko.

In a tweet on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, Adams who is popularly known as Sports Obama further hinted former captain Stephen Appiah will also be relieved from his role as the team manager. The future of goalkeepers' trainer Richard Kinston is also said to be shaky.

Obama also revealed that Kwesi Appiah has lined up former Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach C.K. Akunnor, who is himself a former Black Stars captain, as the replacement for Tanko.

Hearts of Oak team manager Sabahn Quaye is also expected to be announced as the new Black Stars team manager.
