The election took place during the biennial general meeting in San Francisco in the United States of America.

Information available shows that he also served as a vice president of the Commonwealth Dental Association for the West African region from 2015 to 2017.
This came after his tenure as the president of the Ghana Dental Association (GDA) from 2011 to 2015.
Per a report by citinewsroom.com, the CDA was formed to promote oral health among the Commonwealth of Nations.
A particular focus, per reports available, was on oral health issues in the less-developed communities.
In other news, a video of a young man showing unique dancing skills in a church despite efforts to stop him has gone online.
The unidentified man, wearing a short-sleeved shirt and black trousers, danced as the members of the church cheered him on.
