Stonebwoy's Burniton Music Group (BMG), on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, announced an end to the relationship between them and Kelvynboy.
In a letter sight by YEN.com.gh, BMG explained that Kelvynboy's contract had expired in January and they had declined to trigger a renewal clause even though they had still been working with Kelvynboy.
The sack letter followed after reports surfaced in the latter part of August 2019 that Kelvynboy had fallen out with Stonebwoy.
Stonebwoy had become angry apparently because Kelvynboy had shown some ingratitude towards him.
But speaking in his first interview since the official parting of ways, an emotional Kelvynboy stated that he has always been loyal and grateful to Stonebwoy and BMG.
According to the Mea hitmaker, he has been committed to the point of paying for almost all of his music videos under the label.
"I have always been grateful to Burniton Music but I paid for 80% of the videos I shot and that wasn't a problem," he stated.
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy earlier rejected a public apology from Kelvynboy before the sack letter online.
