World’s oldest barber loses his life after almost 100 years of work

- A man on record to be the world's oldest barber, Anthony Mancinelli, is dead

- Mancinelli, who started his career as a barber at 12 years, died at 108 years

- A week before his death, he was ushered into the Barber Museum Hall of Fame in Ohio

Anthony Mancinelli, who was on record as the oldest barber in the world, has lost his life.

YEN.com.gh understands that he died at the age of 108 and his career as a barber lasted for 96 years.

Mancinelli suffered from complications arising out of jaw cancer and eventually kicked the bucket on September 19, 2019, in New York.

Information available shows that he was an Italian immigrant living in the United States of America and he started his profession as a barber at 12 years.

Per a report by celebritiesbuzz.com.gh, he entered the Guinness Book of World Records in 2018 for being the oldest practicing barber.

Mancinelli reportedly charged GHC1.32p when he started working in the year 1923 but he later increased it to over GHC100 during his time as a barber at the Fantastic Cuts in New Windsor.

Details in his obituary showed that he outlived his wife of 69 years, seven siblings and one of his two sons.

The living son disclosed that his father was inducted into the Barber Museum Hall of Fame in Ohio one week before he died.

In other news, a video of a man who reportedly reads minds has caused a stir on social media.

In the video, the man, who is yet to be identified, asked another man, known as Kwasi Aboagye, to search for something online.

Aboagye’s search results are displayed to a camera but are on the blindside of the man performing the act.

Aboagye searches for photos online and the man requests for another phone with which he tries to look for the same thing Aboagye searched.

When both phones are displayed to the camera, it appears as if the man found the exact search item Aboagye located online.
