Hillary Clinton's decision to stay married to former President Bill Clinton, despite his affair, is the gutsiest thing she's ever done in her personal life.
The former Secretary of State along with her daughter, Chelsea made the statement on Tuesday, October 1, while on a show to promote their new book, The Book of Gutsy ,Women.SEAD ALSO: Panic as strong winds from Coastal region sweep across parts of Kenya

Clinton, who twice unsuccessfully ran for president was responding to a question posed in an interview with ABC's Good Morning America show where she appeared to promote the book.
"I think the gutsiest thing I have ever done personally, was to make the decision to stay in my marriage," she said.

"Publicly, politically, (running) for president. And keep going. Just get up every day and keep going," Clinton added.
The former first lady has in the past faced criticism for her decision to stay in her marriage with Bill Clinton following his infamous affair 20 years ago with Monica Lewinsky.

The Senate ultimately acquitted Bill Clinton during an impeachment trial over the scandal, and he finished his term as President.
Responding to the same question from her daughter said her mother's response was so overwhelming that she ran out of words.
Clinton has been on the media circuit for the last few days promoting the book, and has been vocal about the impeachment inquiry into Trump.
She said that she supports Nancy Pelosi’s decision to start an impeachment inquiry.
