Social media users are divided over an opinion shared by a Congolese artist with respect to the colonization of Africa.
The artist, Sindika Dokolo, asserted that Africans are still suffering because of their perception of colonialism.
He explained that an African who believes the continent’s history started on the day the colonial explorer arrived is mistaken.
Per a report by BBC News Africa, this did not go down well with some social media users who shared their opinion on his comment.
