Kwadwo Safo, the ex-husband of actress Juliet Ibrahim, has debunked claims by the actress that they first met in a strip club.
According to the CEO of Kantanka Automobile, he and his ex-wife met for the first time through a close friend.
In an interview with Accra-based radio station Starr FM, Kwadwo Safo Jnr. expressed disappointment in Juliet Ibrahim for claiming they met in a strip club.
“We met through a friend. We didn’t meet at a strip club, that claim is not true," Kwadwo Safo said as he debunked the claim.
He expressed wonder at the actress for making such an untrue statement in an interview on the Delay Show.
Kwadwo Safo explained how they first met and the story was far different from what Juliet Ibrahim narrated.
According to Juliet, she and her ex-husband met for the first time in a strip club before they got married.
The statement which made the headlines sort of defamed Kwadwo Safo since he is the son popular preacher Apostle Kwadwo Safo.
In the same interview, Kwadwo Safo named Jackie Appiah as his favourite actress, leaving Juliet Ibrahim out of the list.
When asked about his best actress, the automobile man minced no words and mentioned actress Jackie Appiah.
