Ex-Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah has won the hearts of many Ghanaians after sharing a cute photo.

Appiah, for the first time, has decided to show off his handsome son to the world who looks just like him.

On Thursday, October 3, 2019, Appiah’s son, Rodney turned a year older.

And as a loving and caring father, Appiah couldn’t keep mute as he took to his Instagram handle to celebrate his son.

His caption of the photo read, “Hi Rodney, Happy Happy Birthday to you. On this special day and occasion, I pray for blessings over you in all that you do. May your dreams in life be accomplished in Jesus name, Amen. Enjoy your new age as an adult. Happy birthday.”

After wishing his son happy birthday by sharing his photo, many social media users joined the former Black Stars skipper to celebrate his son.

Appiah is one of the most respected football stars to have played for the Black Stars.

He became the first Black Stars captain to lead the team to its first World Cup in Germany 2006.

Appiah has played for top European clubs like Juventus, Parma, Udinese, Fenerbache, etc.

Appiah captained 64 times for Ghana, scoring 14 goals in the process.
