Barack and Michelle Obama celebrate 27th wedding anniversary with powerful photos

It’s an amazing thing getting married to the love of your life but its different when that same person is the former president of the United States.

That’s the feeling two love birds in Barack and Michelle Obama can only explain.

Barrack and Michelle have never seemed to be out of love and even while running the hardest job at the helm of the US government, they never lost love and affection for each other.

This has carried on even in retirement as the two seem to enjoy their time off from the grueling demands of the Oval office.

Their magical day, October 3, also happens to be National Boyfriend day and I bet boys would love to be treated like kings on a day that recognises them romantically.

The former US president, with an amazing image of the couple in a beautiful embrace, enjoying the sunset over the mountains, has been able to melt hearts around the world.

Creatively, the Image had a symbolic touch to it, as it related to a song by The Statler Brothers; Over the Sunset Mountain, a song that was one of many in the Gospel Favorites Album, released in, you guessed it, 1992.

Michelle Obama was not left behind in congratulating his hubby for a promise of adventure he made 27 years ago and thus has delivered.

On her Instagram, Michelle, went on to say how the magic in their relationship was still alive and hoped for the best in their future discoveries.

Meanwhile, following a report by YEN.com.gh about Sackey Abednego, a senior high school graduate who took to social media to appeal to Ghanaians for help to fund his tertiary education, the presidency has intervened.

President Nana Akufo-Addo, directed the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat to issue a full scholarship to Abednego Sackey after some persons at the presidency drew the president’s attention to the teenager’s predicament following a report about his situation.

Despite completing the 2019 West African Examination Certificate Examination (WASSCE) with 7As and a B3, Sackey Abednego, a former student of Kade Senior Technical School, faced a real challenge of funding his tertiary education.
