Ken Kojo Adams is a student of Takoradi Technical University, who is making beautiful sculptures from wood waste.
Even though wood in itself is not organically recyclable, Ken who is also a painter and a professional sculptor has used wood waste from carvings in his department to produce something amazing.
“Wood waste from sculpture making has always been a problem at the Takoradi Technical University and other technical universities in the country,” Ken Kojo Adams narrates.
“This wood waste out of wood carvings has always been a problem at my sculptural department and other sculptural studios and I have been thinking of getting a solution to make good use of it until this idea came up. This was a problem because the wood wastes if not burnt litters the department,” he said.
According to Ken, months of research revealed to him wood waste can be used for something good instead of burning.

He is calling on government or the relevant institutions to come to his aid so can produce this on a large scale.
