Samira, wife of the vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has celebrated her husband on social media on his birthday.

Today, Monday, October 7, 2019, marks the 56th birthday of the vice president.
To mark her sweetheart's special day, the second lady has taken to social media to share a lovey-dovey photo with him.

Sharing the photo, Samira thanked the Almighty for his favour and guidance on her husband's life.
Describing Dr Bawumia as an amazing husband and daddy, Samira expressed her love and that of their children for him.
"We thank Allah for another year of life, good health and favour. I pray for His continued guidance and blessings for the years to come, especially as you serve our dear nation. Thank you for being an amazing hubby and daddy. The kids and I love you dearly.❤ Happy birthday, my dear," the second lady's caption read.

Since Samira's lovely message came up online, many of her followers have join her in wishing Bawumia a happy birthday.

@lydiadarkoacheampong prayed for more wisdom for Bawumia: "Happy birthday His Excellency. May Allah continue to enrich you in wisdom."
But @penyi observed that the veep was tired and asked for more rest for him: "Madam Second Lady my man looks tired. We know he is working too hard but can we make sure he is getting rest. He is our possible future President."
Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh recently reported that Samira has met former United States president Bill Clinton.
Samira and Clinton met at the "Next 50 Chefs for the Future of Disaster Relief and Climate Resiliency", an event organised by the World Central Kitchen, in New York.
