Black athletes reveal why they are not ready to represent Ghana

- Two Black athletes, Lisa Marie Kwayie and Yasmin Kwadwo, have granted an interview after competing in a women’s 4x100m relay race

- They came fifth in the competition and said they are proud to have competed against Ghana

- They, however, refused to give a firm response when asked if they would represent Ghana in the near future

Two Black athletes who came in 5th in a competition, have opened up about an ongoing competition and the way forward.

The athletes, Lisa Marie Kwayie and Yasmin Kwadwo, participated in the women’s 4x100m relays for Germany.

According to them, they did their best and were proud to run against Ghana even though it is their country of birth.

They went on to say that it is always nice to see Ghanaian athletes and they feel proud and happy in such situations.

In the video, however, stated that they are yet to decide whether they would represent Ghana in the near future.

They explained that they are comfortable with the way things are now and the idea of switching to the country of their birth has never crossed their mind.
