It's not often that we see a couple reach an incredible milestone like 30 years of marriage in today's world, which is why an occasion like this is really special to legendary veteran singer, Yvonne Chaka Chaka and her hubby, Dr Mandlalele Mhinga.
Yvonne took to Instagram this morning to share her special day with her fans. She posted a diagram which emphasises the significance of 7 October. She wrote: "God is amazing all the time. 30 years ago Dr Mhinga asked for my hand in marriage and I said Yes I DO. 30 years later we still together. Today is our 30th wedding anniversary. I can not stop thanking the Lord who brought us together, I was 24. Now I am 54 and we have been together for 30 years. Time flies, 7th October 1989 we said Yes We Do. We Thank You Lord. We thank our families, our children and our friends. And all those who have supported us and encouraged us a big Thank you. Tiny."

Yvonne also posted a sweet video of her and Dr Mhinga during a photo shoot, where the photographer asked him to kiss his wife, but he felt really shy to do that in front of others.

Meanwhile, about four weeks ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Yvonne Chaka Chaka is a proud grandmother and recently decided to show off a bit with her young granddaughters. She also joked about how great it was to be able to spend time with them and then hand them back to their parents.
The Princess of Africa, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, is also a grandmother and it seems like she's enjoying all the perks of having grandchildren. It is a real joy to have little ones to guide and council without needing to clean up their mess.
She recently shared a couple of snaps of her adorable granddaughters with a humorous caption. "I can spend time with them, then go do what I like - performing, and they can go back to their parents."
