GH One TV presenter, Nana Aba Anamoah, has waded into the sex-for-grades brouhaha.
On Monday, On Monday, October 7, 2019, BBC released a documentary about how some top lecturers at the University of Ghana have been manipulating the grades of female students for sexual favours.
The two top lecturers who were implicated in the video are, Ransford Gyampo and Dr. Paul Kwame Butakor.
However, Nana Aba, in giving her thoughts regarding the ongoing issue, claimed that some big men in the country sometimes demand to sleep with female journalists before granting interviews.
According to the award-winning broadcaster it’s difficult for one to be a woman because whenever you need something from the opposite sex, they would demand something from you in return.
She intimated that people request sex for jobs, grades and other things including asking for sex before granting interviews to journalists.
Meanwhile, the University of Ghana has refuted sex-for-grades allegations made against two of its lecturers, Professor Ransford Gyampo and Dr Paul Kwame Butakor, in BBC's latest documentary.
According to Dr Margaret Amoakohene, chairperson of the university's anti-sexual harassment committee, the video did nothing to prove the allegations of sex-for-grades against the lecturers.
