The former first lady of the United States of America, Michelle Obama, has lauded filmmaker, Tyler Perry after he outdoored a $250 million 330-acre film studio in Atlanta.
According to her, she feels so much love for him because it is the first major film studio fully owned by an African-American.
She went on to say that together with her husband, Barack, they are proud of him because he has proven that progress means marching forward regardless of the challenges.
According to Perry, the reason behind the project is to leave a legacy behind and secure the groundwork for the next generation to continue from there.
High profile personalities such as Oprah Winfrey, Spike Lee, Jay Z, and Beyoncé were present at the event.
In other news, a 16-year-old Junior High School (JHS) graduate known as Elvis has finally been admitted to Adisadel College.
Elvis gained media attention when he granted an interview with respect to the uncertainties associated with the placement of Junior High School (JHS) graduates in Senior High School (SHS).
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that he chose schools in the Central region but he was given a school in the Ashanti region.
Elvis, who attended Budumburam DA Basic School, chose Adisadel College, Ghana National, Apam SHS, and Awutu-Winneba SHSs.
In photos that have surfaced online, he is seen wearing a school uniform and posing for a photo.
