Asamoah Gyan scores first goal for NorthEast United in India; raps Ex-Doe Maba (video)

Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has netted his first goal for Indian club NorthEast United.

The striker scored on his first-ever appearance as the club played a 1-1 draw with the Indian national team in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday evening.

The 33-year-old scored on the stroke of halftime to cancel out Tiger’s early lead to prevent NorthEast from losing.

Following the match and his goal, Asamoah Gyan has released a video which is subtly telling Ghanaians that he is back.

In the video, Gyan is seen riding in a car and rapping Ex-Doe's Maba hit song which literally translates as "I'm back".

Gyan joined NorthEast on a free transfer last month after leaving Turkish club Kayserispor in June.

The Indian Super League season will start on Sunday, October 20, 2019.
