Dancehall sensation, Shatta Wale, has finally revealed why he will not congratulate Sarkodie for winning his second BET award
The Tema-based rapper made history on Saturday, October 5, 2019, in USA when he became the first artiste to win the Best International Flow Act at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards.
However, following that achievement, many top Ghanaian musicians like, Stonebwoy, Samini, Medikal, etc congratulated him.
One person that was missing in action was Shatta Wale and now he has given the real reason why congratulating Sarkodie is not important.
Shatta Wale, speaking on Paul Adom-Octchere’s Good Evening Ghana show to explain why he has still not congratulated Sarkodie on any of his social media handles said, it is unnecessary for him to do that.
According to him, it’s a complete waste of time and congratulating Sarkodie will not in any way put money in his pocket, hence the reason he has been mute on the issue.
In the past, Shatta Wale and Sarkodie were close friends but the two are now not in good terms.
It was Shatta Wale, who first took a swipe at Sarkodie as he labeled the latter as a poor person.
Sarkodie, after stomaching lots of criticism from Shatta Wale recorded a song Advise aimed at the Ayoo hitmaker.

Despite the frosty relationship between Shatta Wale and Sarkodie, the latter had earlier said he missed the former and wished for them to be close friends like they were before
