A young Ghanaian man by name Kwame Boakye Yiadom Jnr, is currently providing free training in painting for other Ghanaian youths.
The training, according to Yiadom, is only opened to women.
He made this revelation in an exclusive chat with YEN.com.gh on our official Facebook page.
Telling why he decided to train only women, Yiadom disclosed that he wanted to break the male dominance in the painting industry.
He added that he also wanted to help provide the interested women with their own job so that they do not become dependent on others, especially, on men who would want to take undue advantage of them.
According to him, eight of the women have been training so far, and what is more, three of those trained are now working as full time professional painters.
Yaidom also added that some of the women also came to learn the trade for fun.
He was hopeful of helping more women who would be interested in learning painting for trade of for fun.
