Meet Kati G Ghanaian music sensation and a genius behind The Cake Fair (photos, video)

Born Catherine Eno Owusu-Sakyi, multi-talented musician, Kati G, became a household brand for her numerous creative works including her hit cover songs such as 'Skintight' by Mr. Eazy and 'You & Me' by Joey B.

Kati G released her first maiden song, 'Na You' which featured Reynolds The Gentleman in 2018.

Her parents, both native Ghanaian US-based, have been her live support and number one inspiration as a toddler before she learned how to play her first instrument to present day.

At the age of eight, then Catherine, her drive to follow her passion stirred her up to learn how to play an instrument, the cello to become a cellist.

And she pursued her quest to learn an instrument alongside her basic and high school education in the United States where she also graduated with a degree in music from the Berklee College of Music.

Kati G has received huge recognition for her soothing voice and has been associated with prominent and influential contemporary acts including Okyeame Kwame and dancehall sensation Epixode.

However, the Ghanaian songstress is known for other brilliant initiatives such as The Cake Fair, which together with a dedicated and committed team of creatives continue to be the leader of Ghana's cakes fairs with their yearly event which has been running since 2015.

As the Creative Director, Kati G is one of the masterminds behind The Cake Fair brand, Ghana’s only biggest annual cakes event which assembles over 2,000 cake enthusiasts.

The former Executive Producer of Accra-based radio stations Live FM and Starr FM has also steered the creation of contents for shows such as the The Drive Time hosted by Borla Ray and Anita Erskine, formerly of Starr FM.

Undoubtedly, Kati G has numerous talents and her latest additions are Adeyede ginger toffee and juice.

The CEO of VoiceAds was recently featured on The Joy Business Van, a flagship programme which airs on Joy News TV, to discuss and showcase her new products.

Kati G is already gearing up for another maiden song release which she promises would be one of her biggest hits before the end of 2019.

Meanwhile, a set of twins who are local Ghanaian comedy actors have gained online prominence for their dark complexion and adorable looks after their photos surfaced online.

While they are yet to gain national interest, Kwabena Atta Panyin and his twin brother, Kwabena Atta Kakra have already mesmerised hearts but not with their comedy skits. Perhaps not yet.
