Sarkodie emotionally promotes Shatta Wale during interview in latest video

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has shown massive love to his former close friend, Shatta Wale.

Despite Shatta Wale not being in good terms with Sarkodie, the latter has shown maturity.

Sarkodie has decided to put their sour relationship behind him to promote the name of Shatta Wale during an interview in the UK.

Sarkodie said in the interview that he dedicates the award to all upcoming artistes in Africa.

He noted that they should keeping doing what they do best. For instance, if they rap in Swahili, they should keep rapping in that local language and one day, they’ll climb up higher heights.

He then mentioned that if you come to Ghana, people listen more to Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and himself more than top International people like Rick Ross who rap in English.

The Tema-based rapper made this known in an interview with Hemah on BET UK after he went on stage to claim his award.

In the past, Shatta Wale and Sarkodie were close friends but the two are now not in good terms.

It was Shatta Wale, who first took a swipe at Sarkodie as he labeled the latter as a poor person.
