Super-talented Cameroonian retired footballing professional, Samuel Eto’o, has shared a childhood photo to appreciate his humble start in life and to own the great strides he’s made in life.
Samuel Eto’o posted a two variance photo collage of himself, then a toddler in suit and a flying tie and his current state while urging his fans to ''take pride in how far they've come''.
The former Cameroonian striker sought to inspire his the world particularly his followers with his personal life when he added: ''Have faith in how far you can go. But don't forget to enjoy the journey.''
Eto’o was a professional player for over 20 years and was active in five seasons at Barça from 2004 to 2009, where he became one of the best strikers in the history of the club.
He is regarded as one of the greatest African players of all time, winning the African Player of the Year, a record four times in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2010.
Samuel Eto'o announced his retirement on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the age of 38, declaring ''I need a rest''.
