Ghanaians in UK mourn teenage footballer Baptista Adjei who was stabbed

The Ghanaian community in the UK, in Stratford Broadway, have joined the family of 15-year-old Baptista Adjei who was stabbed in his school uniform to mourn.

The one-week commemoration, was to remember the unfortunate demise of the budding Ghanaian footballer.

The event was attended by late Baptista’s family, friends, school mates and sympathizers.

The one-week remembrance was held at the exact spot where Baptista died, outside McDonald’s, in Stratford Broadway.

The young ‘popular’ boy was fatally knifed in his school uniform at 3.20pm on Thursday, October 10.

Family of young Baptista described him as a “nice boy” who put smiles on the face of everyone he came across.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Isaac Yao Vinepon, a 33-year-old who survived a near-fatal accident is appealing to the public to support him with funds to cater for his surgery.

Yao Vinepon was involved in a ghastly accident in the Volta Region three weeks ago while traveling to Peki for a funeral.
